Last Semester!
Month Service Hours: 13 Total Service Hours: 25 This is the last blog for the program! This month I got to take part in a very cool service opportunity. Gledys and I went out to the Kid of Excellence Mural Block Party and it was so much fun. We got to paint by the numbers an entire mural; while it was actually pretty hard work, it was so worth it to see the mural in the end. There was food, music, and fun for the kids. I also had the opportunity to be a medical volunteer in the Plaquemine Seafood Festival 5k. It’s always a joy to take part in providing healthcare to the weekend warriors of the world. It was the kickoff to a very fun and enjoyable festival!
